DAVID BELLAMY OBITUARY
David Bellamy died on Wednesday at the ripe old age of 86. Anyone in Britain of my age will have grown up watching him on television as he explained and explored the natural world in his typically exhuberant style that very much appealed to kids. According to the Express, Bellamy died of dementia, although this may be paper talk; Bellamy, after all, did not endear himself to the media in recent years. Bellamy was often outspoken, showing his disdain for wind turbines on BBC flagship children's programme Blue Peter back in 1996; but it was his heresy on climate change that really made the establishment turn against him, which Bellamy referred to as a scam. That said, many on the Right have again been all too hasty to hold him up as #ourguy, for Bellamy, despite his dissent from the establishment line on certain subjects, has always been very much left of centre.

THE BBC's ANTIQUES MERRY-GO-ROUND
I will admit to watching television programmes like Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt, although I refuse to pay for the licence fee, as it broke its charter long ago, and there are ways and means of watching the BBC for free.... I once even went so far as to apply to be a contestant on Bargain Hunt back in the David Dickinson days. As with many BBC programmes, my enjoyment of them has waned considerably due to "diversification". Yes, even in these most English of programmes, an unhealthy dose of diversity has been added. Since getting rid of presenter Tim Wonnacott in 2016, who kept the show within a certain all-White group of antique dealers, the BBC have added several non-White so-called experts: Raj Bisram, Danny Sebastian and Gary Pe. All of them are there to express their Otherness and deconstruct British history and culture.

TRUDEAU: THE LEFT AS COSPLAY
Whatever happened to the perfectly good term 'fancy dress'? I suppose one might argue that 'cosplay' emphasises the element of play to it, of playing the role the costume suggests. One such man who loves to do this is Justin Trudeau. There is nothing terribly wrong with that - except that he does it when representing the country he is prime minister of on the world stage. Even worse, the majority of Canadians seem to think this is perfectly normal.

KENNETH WILLIAMS: A REAL DANGEROUS FAGGOT
Milo Yiannopoulos is as ubiquitous as he is annoying and perhaps all the more annoying in his ubiquitousness. Yet for some reason, he seems to be fawned over by many in the Alt Right, hence his ubiquitousness. Of course, to anyone who truly knows what Rightist values are, Milo is certainly not Rightist at all. He is a Whig, a liberal laissez-faire defender of corporate interests. He promotes mixed-race relationships, relationships to him in any case being all about stuffing as many large objects into his anal cavity as possible. He is of course himself mixed-race, which has led to psychological complex after complex, compounded by the fact that part of his racial heritage is Jewish, which always seems to bring with it its own peculiar collection of complexes. Like a spoilt child, he will say anything to shock, and many of his autobiographical stories are at the very least extremely embellished. Yet in this day and age, it seems he is to be held up as some sort of hero of the Right, which says a lot about these times and the people in them. For if this is a hero, how debased is the common man?
