YUKIO MISHIMA, FASCISM AND THE ALT RIGHT

I read Andrew Joyce's article on Yukio Mishima at The Occidental Observer after a friend recommended it, and now I see that someone called Riki Rei has written a riposte over at Counter Currents. Riki Rei does not sound like the most European of names to me, and one is left to wonder yet again about how committed the author of The White Nationalist Manifesto Greg Johnson is to White Nationalism. After all, why the need to defend a non-White East-Asian homosexual? The question is largely rhetorical, of course. The question for Alt Right Mishima-weeaboos is whether it is his racial otherness or his dubious sexuality that is the biggest attraction. There are indeed over twenty articles at Counter Currents dedicated to a man of dubious character who was not even of European ancestry. The famous pose of Mishima as 'the penetrated saint' St Sebastian popular with homosexuals from Oscar Wilde onwards says a lot about the man and his followers. I do not need to iterate further on Mishima, for Joyce's article very much sums up my own thoughts on the Japanese actor, but what Joyce has written regarding Mishima also brings Joyce's own politics into question.

A RESPONSE TO GREG JOHNSON'S ESSAY "GAY PANIC ON THE ALT RIGHT"

Let me first point out that I have no problem with Greg Johnson personally. I think, unlike many in the Aut Right, that he has done some sterling work in publishing Rightist poets, authors and philosophers like Juleigh Howard-Hobson, Tito Perdue and Jonathan Bowden. Indeed, contrary to how certain miscreants of the Aut Right attempt to portray me, any critiques I give are utterly impersonal. I do not care one jot about the 'flame wars' between the various personalities of the Aut Right who jockey for position and fame. Beyond exposing out-and-out frauds, the only thing I am interested in is the progression of the wider nationalist movement itself, and the question I always pose is: Does it help the movement? And this is exactly at the heart of the problem with Greg Johnson's essay "Gay Panic on the Alt Right". Although an old essay written in 2016, it resurfaced in the volume The Alternative Right, which mysteriously found its way to my doorstep a couple of months ago.

ERKENBRAND CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dutch Alt Right group Erkenbrand, with whom I have had a long collaboration, have announced another conference on 3rd November. The price is €35 and speakers include Millennial Woes, George Hutcheson, Faith Goldy and Greg Johnson, the first proof of whose White Nationalist Manifesto I have just been reading through and offering a few suggestions. It will be a very interesting read when the finished version is released, so that's two adverts in one there.

THREE SPEECHES AND A RANT

Jez Turner, host of the London Forum

I am presenting the three speeches that I gave at the London Forum and its sister conference the Yorkshire Forum together here, as it may well be that these will represent the last of my public appearances, as I plan to take a sabbatical from the movement later this year, which may, indeed, prove to be permanent. Jez Turner (above), has kindly asked me to speak at the London Forum later this year, but my heart is just not in it. Sadly, I have grown weary of some of the people in the movement, who seem to lack any compassion for members of their own race in favour of ideologies that often encompass the interests of other peoples.

Milo and Anglin: The Scylla and Charybdis of the Alt Right

There has been much written on the subject of the dangers or boons of Milo Yiannopoulos and Andrew Anglin to the Alt Right. I would rather we avoid them as much as possible and will explain why; but firstly, I will give a quick run down of the perceived positives and defences of the two that I have heard mentioned by other Alt Right commenters.

David Yorkshire, Greg Johnson and John Morgan in conversation

A discussion I had with Greg Johnson of Counter Currents and John Morgan of Arktos. Please bear in mind that John and I were on the beer until the wee small hours the night before.
