ENOCH POWELL vs JONATHAN MILLER

Yes, I've been watching that loathsome intellectual midget Dick Cavett again. Rather, I have been watching his guests, in this case, the academic, soldier, philosopher and politician Enoch Powell dueling with the Jew Jonathan Miller, who had his nose in the arts and Leftist causes for half a century and was beloved of The Guardian. Throughout the debate, it is obvious whose side Cavett is on and that the audience has been stacked against Powell. These are tricks that have become as obvious as they are commonplace. Despite having the odds stacked against him, Powell still manages to win the day with his wit, wisdom and reason. Little wonder when Miller asks us to abandon "rationalism" and "reasonableness" in favour of what he describes as "a sense of the variety of the human existence and also attention to the capacities of human beings to absorb each other's differences". Little wonder indeed, for if one abandons reason, one can no longer see the contradiction of what he has just said. How can there be variety if difference is absorbed? Typical Hebraic deconstructive nonsense. Miller's obfuscation and constant shifting of argument is to defect from the real reasoning behind his argumentation. It is in Miller's interest to open the borders up to non-European immigration, for it benefits himself and those like him. One also notes his barely-disguised contempt for our elderly.

 

 

SEPARATION NOT SEGREGATION!

One of the things that interests me is looking back at the old episodes of The Dick Cavett Show. People thinking that SJW politics just arrived yesterday ought to watch a few of these. Cavett is the epitome of creamy bourgeois liberal smugness who continually pushed SJW politics in the various talk shows he fronted. Whenever he had on someone whose views he opposed, he would introduce him straight away as 'controversial', stack the audience against him (it was invariably a him) and bring on a guest diametrically opposed to him with whom Dick could gang up on him. Such was the case with Dixiecrat Governor of Georgia and segregationist Lester Maddox.

 

 

 

JOHN WAYNE, KIRK DOUGLAS AND DICK CAVETT: THE MUD, THE BAD AND THE SMUGLY

Television and the media in general interpret the world for the masses. The problems are not just with who gets to do the interpreting and with the dishonesty of the interpretation, but also with the dishonest personae of the people most viewers - even sceptical ones with regard to interpretation - buy into as genuine. To give you an example of what I mean, I'll give a little commentary on the clip below from the Dick Cavett Show. As you will see later, it is very relevant to contemorary events. In a mirror of contemporary life, John Wayne is absent from the studio, just as he is now long deceased in real life, while Cavett and Kirk Douglas live on, Douglas currently at the ripe old age of 102. Douglas and Wayne both had their names changed in order to play the heroic masculine characters with whom they became synonymous, Wayne, born Marion Morrison, probably because his name was too effeminate (although he himself had no part in the decision), and Douglas, born Issur Demsky, because it was too foreign.
