ERKENBRAND PODCAST: AN INTRODUCTION TO POETRY

I was back with the Erkenbrand team for a podcast about the importance of poetry, hosted by Mr H, with whom I did the excellent Erkenbrand series on classical music. Joining us was Holly Hazeltree, whose fledgeling Youtube channel and blog are already very informative, even if she is more sympathetic to Christianity than I am. Please consider subscribing to her channel to give her some encouragement. There are, after all, very few allegedly nationalist channels with anything approaching a high level of content, most tending to be style over substance. Erkenbrand's channel tends to have both, with excellent production and content, so that's another one to subscribe to, and you might even like to subscribe to my own.... This podcast concentrates on European poetry, its history and its relevance and function for a people. Erkenbrand will also be producing Dutch language shows on specific poets.

ERKENBRAND CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dutch Alt Right group Erkenbrand, with whom I have had a long collaboration, have announced another conference on 3rd November. The price is €35 and speakers include Millennial Woes, George Hutcheson, Faith Goldy and Greg Johnson, the first proof of whose White Nationalist Manifesto I have just been reading through and offering a few suggestions. It will be a very interesting read when the finished version is released, so that's two adverts in one there.

ERKENBRAND: CLASSICAL MUSIC EPISODE IV

In the fourth instalment of Erkenbrand's series on classical music, "A New Hope", the evil Galactic Empire has forced me to select four composers for Fausto, Wagenaar and Mr H to discuss. Rather than choose my favourites, I gave my picks based on themes that I thought were interesting for discussion. Subjects include the Barbary Slave Trade, Italian and English nationalism, Christian morality, the fetishism of Orientalism, civilization versus barbarity, and the synergy of contemporary film and music.

The introduction, as ever, is in Dutch and the rest in English.

ERKENBRAND: CLASSICAL MUSIC EPISODE III

This is the third instalment of Erkenbrand's series on classical music, in which Fausto selects four of his favourite composers for Mr H, Wagenaar and I to discuss - although we often drift off onto other subjects, particularly the merits or lack thereof of Christianity.

A quick note: @17:40, I actually meant the band The Beautiful South's predecessor, The Housemartins.

ERKENBRAND: CLASSICAL MUSIC EPISODE II

In the second episode of Erkenbrand's mini-series on classical music, Fausto, Wagenaar, Mr H and I conclude our look at the history of classical music as we discuss the classical period and Romanticism. In the next episode, we will analyse four composers chosen by one of the panel.

ERKENBRAND'S SERIES ON CLASSICAL MUSIC

I am one of the guests on a series on classical music currently being produced by the Dutch Alt Right movement Erkenbrand. The series will serve as an introduction to classical music and address why it is important for ethnic Europeans. This episode looks at the history of classical music from its beginnings to baroque. There is a brief introduction in Dutch and then the rest is in English. We also listen to a few pieces typical of their eras and discuss them.

If anyone is interested in the poetry by Lord Alfred Douglas mentioned from 1:04:32 onwards, it is the collection of sonnets In Excelsis (1924), which had been out of print for decades until I published it in Mjolnir Magazine Issue III.

ERKENBRAND INTERVIEW AND SOME WORDS ON THE MOVEMENT

This is the podcast I did with Dutch Alt Right group Erkenbrand, who appear to be a model for how to run an Alt Right network. Meetings are currently being attended by around 120 people and numbers are set to rise this year. Mainstream politicians in the Netherlands are tuning into their podcasts, especially as they maintain their respectability, steering a steady course between the Scylla and Charybdis of Nazi LARPers and the Alt Light or Alt Left of militant homosexuals and promoters of miscegenation. Sometimes, in this crazy basket case of a thing we call the movement, people are all of these things at once.
